Congratulations to Yang Zong-You, a senior from Tourism 4A (alumnus of Zhongli Home Economics & Commercial High School), who, under the guidance of Professor Hung, Chi-Yao, stood out in the highly competitive “Light of Returning Currents – AI Youth Creative Challenge” organized by the Taoyuan City Youth Affairs Bureau, earning a Merit Award.

This honor is not only a testament to Yang’s capabilities, but also highlights Ming Chuan Tourism’s forward-looking strength in integrating technological applications with boundless creativity.

Centering his story on learning, internships, and career development in Hokkaido, Japan, Yang successfully integrated AI tools into creative practice—seamlessly combining technique with authenticity.

In addition to receiving a cash prize of NT$10,000, Yang will be invited to serve as a “Returning Representative,” coming back to the department to share his learning journey and internship experiences, inspiring more junior students to explore their careers with courage.
