Here’s the English translation:

Congratulations! Our Department’s Student Li Ying-Chi Wins the 2025 National Science and Technology Council Undergraduate Research Creativity Award

In today’s announcement of the 2025 National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) Undergraduate Research Creativity Award, our department’s graduating senior Li Ying-Chi, under the guidance of Professor Lin Yi-Hsien, received one of only 200 NSTC Undergraduate Research Creativity Awards given out each year.

For the 2025 academic year, a total of 9,017 undergraduate research project applications were submitted to the NSTC, of which 4,377 were approved — and only 200 of those received the highest honor: the Undergraduate Research Creativity Award.

Ying-Chi’s win reflects the tremendous effort she put into her research project.

Every year, thanks to the hard work of our faculty and students, our department has ranked No. 1 nationwide among tourism-related departments in terms of undergraduate research project funding. Over the years, a total of 7 students from our department have received the Undergraduate Research Creativity Award.

Going forward, our department will continue to encourage effort and foster collaboration between faculty and students to achieve outstanding academic results!
