Congratulations! Our Department’s Student Li Ying-Chi Wins the 2025 National Science and Technology Council Undergraduate Research Creativity Award<\/strong><\/p>\n

In today’s announcement of the 2025 National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) Undergraduate Research Creativity Award, our department’s graduating senior Li Ying-Chi<\/strong>, under the guidance of Professor Lin Yi-Hsien<\/strong>, received one of only 200<\/strong> NSTC Undergraduate Research Creativity Awards given out each year.<\/p>\n

For the 2025 academic year, a total of 9,017 undergraduate research project applications were submitted to the NSTC, of which 4,377 were approved \u2014 and only 200 of those received the highest honor: the Undergraduate Research Creativity Award.<\/p>\n

Ying-Chi’s win reflects the tremendous effort she put into her research project.<\/p>\n

Every year, thanks to the hard work of our faculty and students, our department has ranked No. 1 nationwide<\/strong> among tourism-related departments in terms of undergraduate research project funding. Over the years, a total of 7 students<\/strong> from our department have received the Undergraduate Research Creativity Award.<\/p>\n

Going forward, our department will continue to encourage effort and foster collaboration between faculty and students to achieve outstanding academic results!<\/p>\n
