Third Place and Merit Award at the 2025 Vanung Cup National \u201cLow-Carbon Tourism in Taoyuan\u201d Itinerary Planning Competition<\/p>\n<p>Ming Chuan University\u2019s Department of Tourism proudly brought home:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Third Place (University Division)<\/li>\n<li>Merit Award<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Third Place (University Division)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Team Members: Du Yu-Cheng, Huang Yun-Chieh, Hsiao Chao-Tse, Hsu Yu-Ting, Sung Chun-Yu<\/li>\n<li>Advisor: Ms. Ho, Yen-Ting<\/li>\n<li>Theme: \u201cA New World for All Ages: Tea Aroma, Woodcraft, and Sea Breeze\u2014A Family Trip\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Concept: \u201cFamily Travel \u00d7 Low-Carbon Tourism \u00d7 Edutainment,\u201d designing a three-day low-carbon tour in Taoyuan that integrates local cultural experiences, environmental education, and sustainability.<\/li>\n<li>Goal: Enable both children and adults to \u201clearn through play and play through learning,\u201d turning \u201clow-carbon\u201d and \u201csustainability\u201d into practical actions in everyday travel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Merit Award<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Team Members: Li Ying-Chi, Chu Tsai-Yi, Huang Min-Hsuan, Kuo Yu-Chen<\/li>\n<li>Advisor: Ms. Ho, Yen-Ting<\/li>\n<li>Theme: \u201cLeisurely from Zhongli: Meandering Along Taoyuan\u2019s Coastal Line\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Focus: Centered on ESG low-carbon tourism, the itinerary combines nature exploration, environmental education, and sustainable dining to create a youth-oriented light-travel green experience, allowing travelers to appreciate the sustainable charm of Taoyuan\u2019s coastline at an unhurried pace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These results showcase Ming Chuan Tourism\u2019s hands-on capabilities and next-generation perspective in low-carbon tourism and ESG sustainability.
