2025 NSTC Undergraduate Research Projects Shine Bright!

Ming Chuan Tourism Research Achievements: A Double Celebration!

Happy summer, everyone! We’re excited to share more good news from Ming Chuan Tourism. The Ministry of Education and the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) have announced the 2025 selections for Teaching Practice Research Projects and Undergraduate Research Projects.

Professor Ho Yen-Ting has been awarded a Ministry of Education Teaching Practice Research Project for: “From Rural Culture to Sustainable Tourism — A USR Field Teaching Practice Integrating Generative AI and Game-Based Scaffolding.” This project will bring fresh perspectives and innovative methods to teaching and practice.

Additionally, five Tourism students have received NSTC Undergraduate Research Project grants. Congratulations to the following students and their advisors:

  • Lee Ying-Chi Project: “The Impact of Incentive Travel Participants’ Activity Experience on Organizational Citizenship Behavior” Advisor: Lin Yi-Hsien
  • Huang Yi-Wen Project: “Exploring Place Identity through Puppet-Theater Cultural Commodities in Huwei Township” Advisor: Lee Chang-Bin

  • Tu Yu-Cheng Project: “Beat Unbroken: A Theatrical Theory Approach to Antecedents of Music Festival Visitors’ Revisit Intentions” Advisor: Lin Wei-Rong
